1. I cannot find what I am looking for on this website. Where can I find additional information?A significant amount of information is provided in the EIS/OEIS. Please refer to this link for detailed information. The EIS/OEIS is word searchable to assist in finding specific topics of interest to you. In addition, numerous fact sheets and links are available in the Documents section of this web site.2. I am having problems downloading a document. What can I do?

Please note that some documents on this web site are quite large. For example, the file size of the Volume 1 SOCAL Range Complex FEIS/OEIS is 58 megabytes. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, this document may take a significant amount of time to download. We have broken the document into smaller sections for your convenience. To save time, you may consider downloading the specific chapters you are interested in individually.

3. I’ve downloaded the document, but I can’t view it.

Documents available on this web site are in Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF). If you have not previously installed a PDF viewing program, you will need to do so to view a PDF file. These programs are available free of charge. We suggest using Adobe’s PDF Reader.

4. What do you do with the Final EIS/OEIS comment information that you collect? 

Following the waiting period, the Navy will review and consider new comments before issuing a Record of Decision.
